Where Wild Things Learn
At Wildfox Day Nursery we believe childhood should be filled with curiosity, adventure and meaningful connections. Our children are encouraged to explore, take safe risks and learn through real experiences both indoors and out.
Based in the heart of Ashington we value our strong community connections. We create a warm and welcoming environment where our children and families feel a true sense of belonging.
Our nature-led approach helps children develop life long confidence and independence. Our design ensures children have adequate space to move freely between the different activities, with separate areas for sleeping, eating and cooking.
A different kind of nursery
At Wildfox Day Nursery we fully support the concept of the Forest School Approach to
learning. Both our outdoor and indoor areas carefully reflect the natural environment.
Children will have direct access to the garden and have the choice to play where their interest takes them. The garden is natural and has thoughtfully designed areas which complement the play
environment inside.
With our fully qualified Forest School lead our children enjoy meaningful outdoor experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity and problem solving. Through hand on exploration, supported risk-taking and learning in nature our children build confidence, resilience, independence and a long lasting connection with the world around them.
