Settling In

Every child settles at their own pace. We'll plan a settling-in period that works for your family, so your child starts Wildfox feeling safe and ready.

Our Sessions

We offer flexible sessions to fit around your family. A minimum of two sessions per week is required. All sessions run Monday to Friday.

Government Funded Hours

Wildfox Day Nursery is registered to accept government funded childcare hours.

Here's what you may be entitled to:

UNIVERSAL ENTITLEMENT

15 Hours - All 3 & 4 Year Olds

From the term after your child's third birthday, all families are entitled to 15 hours of free childcare per week (38 weeks per year).

EXTENDED WORKING PARENT ENTITLEMENT

30 Hours - Working Parents of 3 & 4 Year Olds

Eligible working parents can access 30 hours of funded childcare per week. Check your eligibility at childcarechoices.gov.uk.

WORKING PARENT ENTITLEMENT FROM 9 MONTHS

15 Hours - Working Parents with Children Aged 9 Months–2 Years

Following recent government expansion, eligible working parents can now access 15 hours of funded childcare from when their child is 9 months old.

You may also be eligible for:

  • Tax-Free Childcare

  • Universal Credit childcare element

  • Childcare vouchers (legacy scheme - some employers still offer)
